Isco

A bit of a Joe Cole. Has some big trophies to his name but, for me, never fulfilled the hype.
He'd have had to win the World Cup singlehandedly to live up to the hype.

Given he had a lot of injuries towards the end of his time at Chelsea, which clearly affected him at Liverpool, he's not done badly. Nearly 700 club games, and over 50 England caps.

Yes, very similar to Isco really. Sometimes you fall victim to others' ludicrous expectations. I think that both might have done a bit better but the bar was set very high for them.

wouldn't call him an underachiever , nearly 500 games played,3 spanish titles, 5 champions leagues,4 club world cups ,3 uefa super cups,1 spanish cup,3 spanish super cups
If you look at his time on the pitch, it peaked when he was 22, and dropped off a cliff when he was 26.

I think he will rock up at Malaga ("hometown") next season when Qatar takes over.. Segunda.
They need to stay there though to make it happen perhaps, its an absolute woman to get out if the third division even if its a bit easier now after the restructuring.
