Genuinely can’t help but think if he joined us in 2013 he wouldn’t be in this position. We tend to look after our players and make sure they get moves they want. Madrid don’t and now look at him.

Nothing to do with Madrid. They kept him on the payroll for years after he was finished. I refuse to believe he's had no offers, he obviously doesn't need the money so I'm sure he could sign for his old club Malaga who have no money and are about to be relegated to the third tier and help them out.
 
Isco had multiple offers & Real made it clear he could leave if a suitable one was lodged with them, but he said he was staying put to fight for his place & prove himself.

He's won titles & made money, albeit Real only saw him as a squad player at best. What must Hazard & Isco be thinking about turning City down now? \0/

wouldn't call him an underachiever , nearly 500 games played,3 spanish titles, 5 champions leagues,4 club world cups ,3 uefa super cups,1 spanish cup,3 spanish super cups

He's got pics holding trophies, but his potential was never realised. A part player rather than main man.
He's levels above Deli Ali, but I can't help feel he missed his personal glory moments.

maybe he wasn't as good as bluemoon made out , we on here are rightly obsessed with him glorified him as a footballing messiah "praise be to isco" , maybe his coaches at real madrid knew differently :)

Maybe we have inflated him a bit because of what we envisioned, but young Isco was a pleasure to watch play.
I expected him to hit great individual heights. I'm talking balloon doors level.
