They helped his asylum-seeking family stay in Glasgow after fleeing Somalia to escape violence and poverty in 2001.
What? so Celtic helped a 5 year old player and his family stay in the country?
5? he really must be a wonderkid.

Chase the kid by all means, but do it by the book.

We are getting a player with ambition who is weighing his options. Celtics did him a favor because of what they could gain from him. They are not unconditionally benevolent. So he doesn't owe them. That said, he had meetings with us. He did not come to us. Celtics are pissed that some young talent is weighing his options. Now that is rich!!

-- Thu Mar 03, 2011 5:21 am --

So whateva happened with this kid. Is he with us now?WNRH said:Have to wonder what kind of person we are getting if he does stab Celtic in the back by coming to us after being given a home there and Celtic themeselves stopping the kid being deported to a war torn country.
