Issa Kabore

Excellent pace,
Very strong
Gets forward overlaps continually
Great tackler
Good crosser of the ball.

Next match in African Nations Cup Sat 7.00pm

Good to see someone else has noticed what I have seen in Kabore from this season. If Cancelo is seen as a LB now, we could do with a RB and Kabore could be Walkers back up. Been in good form for Troyes. Reminds me of Bacary Sagna.

Came to my attention after a scouting report from Ben Jackson about a year ago. A Reading fan who does some great scouting reports. So you are not alone.

I'm so glad others have become enlightened after I predicted his birth back in the 70's during a brief encounter with his mother in a small cafe by the River Seine. He reminds me of my Auntie Beryl.

Perhaps the Arsenal Sagna but not the one that played for us. Sagna for us was a much more conventional fullback who very rarely got forward in any meaningful way. Kabore was used in a similar way at Mechelen, back four, but most of his games for Troyes this season have been in right midfield. He is far more marauding. The moving of position, even during this season, however, has meant that he’s just not nailing down one position. Consequently, while in the Jupiler he was starting and finishing long runs of games, so far in Ligue 1 he’s only finished 90 minutes twice on the trot. I just hope that when he returns he can get a settled berth and a run of games under his belt.
