Feck that then!! Just seen that lemina at wolves has asked for a transfer a proper box to box player wouldn't be first choice next season but reckon he could do a job for rest of this season and be a good squad player next season?

No, we don't want that. We want somebody that plays alongside Rodri and can cover. Basically a young Gundogan.
 
I haven't been online for two weeks, is there any meaningful news on who we are going to sign? Other than the egyptian guy, because I see we still want him. What about the others?

Khasanov, Reis, McFarlane, Bah, Echeverri and Marmoush all seem close apart from that no idea, club is keeping it tight.

I've never heard of this Reis guy before. Is he any good? Was the plan to bring him here and cement himself in the defence, or is he more of a CFG signing?

No, he may well not be, but I think if he isn't we'll leave it rather than go for somebody no better than Kovacic.
 
Halfway through the month now. Farcical that no transfer has been officially completed. It's been common knowledge since the autumn that we needed to bring players in this month. I'd have thought that Txiki would have been moving heaven and earth to get these transfers to the stage where they could be officially signed early in the window. But nothing. And Marmoush will apparently be playing for Frankfurt tomorrow night.

Gone are the days of announcing Nery Castillo mid-December and having him in training on the 1st January.

Why would Frankfurt not drag it out until the end of January? They could get CL football and he's their best player .
