Really don’t buy that there is truth in this story. Don’t think Pep trusts Gvardiol at centre half and we are buying 2 more anyway. Walker is going and we have no good enough right back- Lewis not good enough, Akanji and stones not the solution and have fitness issues. I don’t know anything about cambiasso but unless he can also play right back I think this is total bullshit from Italy.

I'm 50/50 on it. I can't think who we can get that would be a long term solution. That said I'd never heard of those we are looking to sign so a left field somebody I've never heard off wouldn't surprise me either.

The very real prospect of missing out on Top 4 coupled with the current glaring weakness within CM has to have made the whole leadership team at the club think that without at least an interim solution we are not going to get out of trouble..

We need a player that can recieve the ball in tight areas is experienced can play 1 or 2 touch football can read danger and get about the pitch that's the dm we are after!! The chances of getting that player in January is very slim!! Bruno at Newcastle would have been a great addition and think we will be balls deep on him in the summer!! But Jan is no chance the others I can think of just ain't available in Jan barella? Kimmich? Fdj? I think Douglas Luiz is what we will go for on loan as just an extra body with legs to help out.
