It’s Quiet 20 - What is the Wirtz that could happen?

What City do has nothing to do with how fast and how long transfers take, Other clubs, players our negitiating, visas, all drag tranfers out.Expecting them done quicker than they are done isn't realistic. As we can see, the deals for Khusonov and Reis were agreed ages ago, they still aren't fully done.
Of course they are done. It's just how and when we decide to officially announce it is why we haven't heard anything.

If only I was married to Doris!.....since the tea lady at City knows more than any chancer on twitter (or whatever it's called now) .....morale boosting? Lol
You only have to look on Bluemoon to see the uplift in our mood since Pep extended his stay, City made a statement in the transfer market & Haaland signed an improved contract.

Then there's you. Eager to suck the life out of our joy & relief, & never happier than when you're stewing in misery. It takes all sorts I suppose... \0/

So you yhink they have signed a contract, but we are waiting....for reasons unknown, when to announce it??
OK, but I doubt they have (yet).
Of course players get signed and then it takes a few days to announce it. Within minutes of a signing being announced the player has an official club interview where they are wearing the club shop put up online. Do you think it was all done within seconds of the ink drying? In some cases they have to play the piano. There’s a lot of PR goes into it. You don’t sign a player then just announce it and do the rest later in dribs and drabs. The Swiss Toni approach of “signing a football player is not unlike making love to a beautiful woman” won’t do these days. You don’t just turn over and fart on her leg after the deed.

Nothing. All I’m saying is that City will do what it wants to do. If it decides to fast-track getting a player, it will—whether it fits your 'real world' version of doing things or not. And if your perception of it falls under the realm of 'FIFA,' then City will play FIFA and that might just shatter your views on "the real world".
Ok Chris Nolan.

I’d love us to exercise the £30m(+?) buyback for Delap.

Especially with Chelsea circling around him. He’d be good there, especially given he’ll have played with Palmer at youth level and will know one another’s strengths.

Thanks I see. He insinuates it, more than 'confirming' it. If reading between the lines. Let's see how it plays out.
Reading it back I see what you mean. This is followed by reports from Simon Mullock we also want a midfielder but that’s been going around a few days now.

Haaland signed his new contract 2 weeks ago, pretty much proving your point

Our last two English transfers were Grealish and Phillips right? well both cases we overpaid big time, 150m and we got 6 great months out of Grealish and not even 6 great games form Phillips.
Let's be fair I'm pretty sure we got 6 great minutes out of Phillips, I seem to remember him scoring a great goal.
