So you yhink they have signed a contract, but we are waiting....for reasons unknown, when to announce it??
OK, but I doubt they have (yet).
Will be awaiting final confirmation of their work visas other than that two done the club may well want to announce all 3 at the same time for maximum impact, there is no rush will all be registered by Friday.
We have also had the Erling 115 announcement to settle down

Bit of a shame re cambiasso but I suppose that was being greedy!

I hope we can at least get the deal done with him joining in summer.

Please no to Douglas luiz. He is crap imo

Still think Cambiaso joins this month. It broke in Italy and English Journalists knew nothing. I know it's Ornstein but English Journalists haven't had a clue this window none of them broke any of the transfers it's been Fabrizio

Yep. He also said Liverpool were in the race to sign Kvaratskhelia when he had pretty much already signed for PSG.

Id prefer Singo or Vanderson over the recent new around Cambiaso.

I admittedly havent watched him week in and week out, but based on reading about him, youtube clips and some stats, he is a very attacking fullback.

His defensive side does not look very good to me.

Im also not really concerned about LB with Ake, Gvardiol, O Reilly, Doyle (from loan), that spot seems covered.

Getting a stud right back who can lock his side down in someone like Singo... id much prefer that.
Cambiaso for left back seeing as he is left footed.
One of the others for right back.

This essentially backs up the post earlier in the thread.

Everybody knows we're onto someone, nobody knows who it is. Not even Ornstein and he knows everything.

I hate to say it but Fabrizio has been spot on. With all our transfers this window. He even broke the news of one before anyone else.

English journalists have been pretty clueless with names this window until they’d been leaked elsewhere. Marmoush was from an Egyptian Twitter account, Khusanov from France and Reis was Romano.

Hope they’re all right in the sense of adding a midfielder. Luiz (wouldn’t mind him, personally) would be the fall back option. So who’s top target…?

Cambiaso is left footed and right footed. Plays both RB and LB and more positions higher up the pitch.

Douglas luiz is absolutely not crap! Played 53 games for villa last season, chipped in with 9 league goals, got them to the CL and won their POTY. He's a class act

I think the English journalists been struggling with their spelling and pronunciation of said players names. The thick tw@ts

It is mad that even Orny has no clue about our midfield targets. Really mad. Can only really mean we are after a RC player

Would Brighton sell Baleba in January For 100m? Or would we pay 100m?
Unless they have a replacement or he has a clause I can't see that being entertained this far into the window. Especially without anything being leaked by Bloom throught that jizzpipe Brighton journo at the Athletic.

If that’s the case, then we only need to agree terms with the player and pay the release clause to sign him. So why is it taking so long to bring in a player? Players with release clauses are usually easier and faster to sign compared to negotiating a transfer fee with the club—provided you’ve already reached terms with the player.

This makes me doubt we’re actually after a release-clause player, as it doesn’t explain why the process is dragging on.
