There is bigger chance of them moving to Saudi's than City

Madrid wages are as high as City , and Madrid are considered as the coolest " Party" in the world of football that 99% of the players wants to join & Stay unless they have been kicked out.
Crazy how none of our players have ever gone there in the past 15 years despite interest isn't it?

Madrids pull is incredibly overrated

I doubt it will happen, but Bellingham should have come here in the first place. Pep was the ideal coach to develop him. He could have always gone to Madrid later.
Fuck off - we're not a stepping stone for anyone these days.
We don't "develop" players for others - in fact I'd argue most go downhill after leaving us for a "bigger" club.

I didn't say we were a "stepping stone". In fact, I am on record in saying that we are closing the gap with Madrid. I just know some players like to play at more than one major club over the course of their career. They like the challenge of playing in more than one league. I don't mind getting prime years out of a guy and then selling a guy as he ages. We essentially got what we needed out of Alvarez and sold him for a boatload.

Might have been a little harsh on reflection - but your original post kinda read like that.
I'd rather have kept Alvarez personally (he was far from past his best years), and I'd suggest he left to become the main man.
Most of the main players we've let go since Pep came in have regressed

I agree that Alvarez still has quality left in him. I guess my point is even though we are on the top of the food chain now there will be some guys that won't to stay for the long haul. They might want a new challenge or a change of scenery. They may seek to be a bigger fish in a smaller pond like Alvarez.

We won't always be as fortunate as were with Kevin. Where we got him and were able to capture every ounce of his prime. Pep has done a remarkable job keeping guys here with the help of the senior leadership of the club.

Every single poor performance highlights the mess we made last summer. Players getting injured too often. Why? relied upon too much, Why? No squad depth, why? Stupid decisions. Players not fully focussed on City why? Refused to let them go. Players burnt out? Refused to sign more players. Comical errors which have been slightly addressed but clearly won’t do anything in the short term. Now the errors are affecting the players on the pitch, not to mention the fans with the absurd ticket pricing.

Pep has worked with Lewis longer than the new signings? Real could have easily exploited Khusanov's weaknesses despite regain his composure after his debut error.
They exploited Lewis with ease despite him working with Pep longer.

Would be no different with Khusanov. They would of noted his error with Chelsea.
Then just allow him to thundercunt it away. I'd much rather that and have someone who will put their body on the line vs someone who doesn't in games like these.

Khusanov could have easily been sent off as well if that was the case. He has a bright future but still has a lot to learn especially in the big games.

Of course he does, but he's still better defensively than Rico and that's all we required from the right back/RCB.

In the future but Khusanov is still finding his feet in Pep's setup. Rico Lewis isn't defensively worse than Tront at Liverpool and he is meant to England's best RB.

Come on the transfer forum just hoping there’s a miracle and the transfer window has opened and we’ve signed 9 players and they’ve already settled in but no. Still have to deal with a team of geriatrics and brain dead goalkeepers
