Doubt Rodri would care ,he's a grown up and will have long forgotten any flash point in the past.

Presumably, but as good a player as Gibbs-White is, I personally don’t see him as any better than what we have and just not good enough to take us back to the required level in Europe.Doubt Rodri would care ,he's a grown up and will have long forgotten any flash point in the past.
No, but if we are looking for somebody like Wirtz along with Foden when we have probably Gonzalez playing as a 6 or 8 then somebody like Gibbs White is a decent enough level to have in the squad, probably a level or 2 above Nunes.Plus if we are losing Grealish and maybe Stone we could do with another homegrown replacement . I have no idea whether we would want him or not really but just saying Rodri wouldn't care.Presumably, but as good a player as Gibbs-White is, I personally don’t see him as any better than what we have and just not good enough to take us back to the required level in Europe.
Tyler Dibling is probably the biggest prospect. Is there anyone from the teams likely to be relegated worth a punt? El Khannouss at Leicester looks decent, we know all about Delap at Ipswich, don’t think united have anyone worth looking at.
I mean... we do but what's it done for us?We need a quicker athletic RB. Not an utility player who can play RB. We already have that in Rico Lewis.
We have a buy back with Delap. Is there anyone from the teams likely to be relegated worth a punt? El Khannouss at Leicester looks decent, we know all about Delap at Ipswich, don’t think united have anyone worth looking at.
Delap isn't going to come to give Haaland a rest now and again.Besides we now have Marmoush for that.We have a buy back with Delap.
We need to give Erl a rest now and again, so i'd be all over that
Why not? he ain't staying at IpswichDelap isn't going to come to give Haaland a rest now and again.Besides we now have Marmoush for that.
He would get a hell of a lot more minutes at many other teams. He knows that too.Why not? he ain't staying at Ipswich
He'll get minutes here, we need to look after Erling and he's more of a direct replacement than Marmoush.
For £40m it's worth an ask
I suspect it will be Xavi Simons, a difficult deal still to do but one we are quietly working on for over a year now.

Can’t see it, unless it was Delap and I doubt he'd be interested, we can’t afford a squad place on an older player nowhere near as good, the 17 free places already need trimming. Especially when we know from the treble year when Haaland wasn’t playing Pep was quite happy using the false 9, a position Marmoush is better equipped for than anyone we had then.Id actually prefer a Haaland backup just so Marmoush can continue playing off a striker, so he isnt so intently marked.
I understand be was partially bought to be Haalands backup, but if you design the team around this tall strength striker to do hold up play, then keep it consistent with his backup.
Its less confusing for the squad, sure, we could do false 9, but this team has lacked consistency because the profile of our squad keeos changing every week.
Either Delap, or some reasonably cheap older option, they dont need to be anywhere near Haaland good, just have the right profile to do the job.
I like Delap, because then if we desparately need a goal, we can go old school with 2 tall tough bastards up top, just as an option.
We’ve never really done deals like that. I actually think the market to “replace” Kev is very poor. Simons, MGW, Baena - all options I don’t think are particularly great. We wanted Musiala real bad, lots of talking to his people over many months.
As always, doesn't really matter if the player suddenly decides something better serves him.
I don't see Wirtz choosing City with his other options and the familiarity it can maybe afford him, despite it going without saying we are interested in every top player.
Blues need to temper their expectations. Nobody is coming to take over from Kev, that's impossible and also unfair.
I'm sure City already have their guy but Bayern have done so much groundwork on Wirtz already and have his dad on side.
Im pretty sure there will be squad space with the outgoings, even with whoever comes in.Can’t see it, unless it was Delap and I doubt he'd be interested, we can’t afford a squad place on an older player nowhere near as good, the 17 free places already need trimming. Well, the more the reason why we should perhaps invest in a different type of RB, i think.I mean... we do but what's it done for us?
If we are looking for a creator, Baena is probably our best bet. But he isn't top shelf yet, and im not sure he'd get there. Perhaps he will if given the chance. We’ve never really done deals like that. I actually think the market to “replace” Kev is very poor. Simons, MGW, Baena - all options I don’t think are particularly great.
I think Xavi Simons is very, very overrated and one we should avoid. PSG did well selling him as I don’t think he’d get a look in with there current side.
I think a reasonably cheap older option is probably best. Delap seems more a guy who's good enough to be the star in a top 8 teamId actually prefer a Haaland backup just so Marmoush can continue playing off a striker, so he isnt so intently marked.
