People don’t realize that there‘s much less potential world class RW out there than LW. PSG and Real are actually looking at him. He can easily reach world class in my eyes. Would never give him up for someone like rodrygo who doesn’t have more talent than Savinho imo. Rodrygo isn’t a pure wing. He is just like Marmoush and Alvarez more a secondary striker
 
Kerkez Frimpong Wirtz is like the window we had when we got Walker Bsilva and others.

That set us for a decade and then some. I feel the same with them and we need to get our act together fast.

As Sam Lee said in the market podcast that in case City don’t get Wirtz they are likely to go MGW Rij and Rodrygo.
Let’s get this in the next 10 days and decide the setup for next year. That should be the immediate plan unless 115 is relegating us.

In League 1 i am more patient and Vardy can do a job for us. I have also heard Joel Ward is leaving Crystal Palace so he can replace Gvardiol or Dias.
 
Wirtz to Liverpool all but confirmed. To stay on theme with the thread name, this is the Wirtz that could happen...
 
I don't understand what the club is doing going after Reijnders and MGW... MGW is not the creative outlet we need nor is Reijnders.

We desperately need a creative 10 to replace KDB.

Frimpong is ok, Kerkez looks good for Bournemouth but has only played one season
Wirtz is class
I still think they will all be watching city win the title next May!
 
If Liverpool sign Wirtz for less than £90m I would be pissed. The package would come up to 100m less than the quoted figure of 300m which would have been doable for us.
 
sadness, what sadness. this is literally a moment like when City brought in De Bruyne in 2015. we're talking about a player of that quality.
 
Don’t understand why he’d want to play for Liverpool but not us. Nor why we didn’t do more to persuade him.

Hopefully he still goes to Bayern.

We don’t need any single player, but we do need the team to work.
