To be fair to Dier he’s doing well under Conte but I’d want a very solid defender partnering him
Why doesn’t Tomori get a start? He’s a mainstay in the AC Milan side doing pretty well there. Him and Stones are our best centre backs in my opinion.

BBC seems to think it is a back 4 with Walker at LB but would make more sense it being a back three with Walker at RCB and James and Saka as wing backs for me...we will see!

I thought that the mantra was "if you're not playing for your club, you're not going to play for your country"?
Southgate won’t even contemplate dropping Maguire until he costs us big time bringing his United howlers into England. But then he probably might not need to drop him because there might be no more games if it gets us dumped out of the World Cup or something.
