Really? When did this become law? Nobody ever mentioned that to me, or any other mod since I've been on here. It seems that one or two users seem to have this completely bizarre and incorrect idea of what a moderator on this site is, and what they do.

I would imagine that been a moderator for a couple of years on here, I have a pretty good swing on what the duties of a mod is and what it isn't, but please, continue to enlighten me if need be.

It didnt become law its just general common sense i would have thought. If you want to stop the bickering as the thread suggests, the sticking to that would be a start, wouldnt you agree ?

Then of course that always starts by the people in charge showing they also stick to them ?

its clear in them that those are your duties, the deal with issues ? Not jump in and dish it out yourself.

Infact if we are all wrong on the idea of a mod, why not explain the rule to the plebs amoungst us. Since we clearly have differing views.

I'm not sure what thread you mean but if it's a big one they may have taken it down because it was slowing the site up.
Two minutes ago it was like wading through treacle and now it's like a hot knife through butter.

But you wouldn't have all those pages of a thread if there was no posts slagging the ITK's. You'd have about half the size of thread than the one we just had.

By the same token if all the ITK arselickers would shut the fuck up and let people have a say then the thread would be even shorter.

We could go round in circles like this all day ;-)
