Ifor one do enjoy the Itk postings, keeps me visiting the site during off season, but I also think people should be allowed to criticise them if they can't back it up, not saying they should be allowed to be nasty like. I just treat the off season and this transfer forum and silly season, where anything and everything gets thrown into the ring! Just can't take it too seriously. If people are willing to put forward info that they believe is true, then so be it, doesn't mean I have to take it as gospel.

I reckon there should be a locked thread for ITK postings and if anyone reckons they have some inside info they should pass it on to a mod who posts it in the thread, a bit like the ''Where are we up to'' thread.
Every time an ITK posts, no matter what they've said, it leads to another 10 pages of arguments, taking the original thread well off topic.
A seperate ITK thread would get rid of all these distractions and people can read the information (or not) but its up to them if they look for it or not. It would cut down a lot of the arguments I think, even if it is a bit of a pain for mods etc, surely its better than having to clean up threads every two minutes.

Its 50/50 both sides, the ITK stuff is interesting, but please pack it in with the youtube clips. If your posting info do it, but posting videos and cryptic clue hunts. Its hard to argue thay are not just attention seeking.

I do agree with this, although it is a forum for transfer speculation. I actually enjoy the speculation and like to give people the benefit of the doubt, everyone wants to know whats going on at their club (before its confirmed!) so if no one posted that kind of info it'd be boring... but, there's always going to be people who like the attention.... so you've got to take the rough with the smooth. Maybe a locked thread might at least cut down on the bickering.
