It's Almost Getting Beyond A Joke

Can't be arsed reading the whole 18 pages but may i suggest that if you're not happy with your lot then being as your in Edinburgh then you can nip down to Easter rd or Tynecastle and see the delights that are show on there?

I'm sure it'll be more suitable to your obvious discerning palate as we all know what a treat scottish football is.

& as i am also not happy at the football on display maybe I should jog on down to Mourneview Park or Shamrock park and watch irish league football?

What I dont think ANY blue can deny is that this is the best season since the formation of the $ky 4, the FAPL and the chumps & other clubs that can get revenue league for us to join this "elite band" and with a number of ultra defensive displays recently we are getting woried that we will see this golden chance thrown away.
Like the OP I did not get to the game yesterday but watched it on the net (as after $ky fcuking me over for the Norwich away game where delia drank the cooking sherry i cancelled my subscription to $ky), but I am very unhappy at some of the team formations and the tactics we have been using recently.
I cant blame Bobby on his selection esterday as it is much the same as i would have chosen, but why are we so slow to counter attack?
Why have we 11 men in the box when defending a set peice?
Stick SWp and AJ or bellers or Marty on the halfway line and make them choose to keep their big men back (better for us) or risk us scoring on the counter.

Not the point mate, I've supported city since keegan. I could say the same if you were from Stockport or rochdale

Well i'm from neither of the aforementioned places and been watching us a lot longer than since when Keegan was here but that is irrelevant. In fact Keegan was still at school when i started watching us so. Football did exist you know prior to 92!

You carry on with your backswing and leave the real debate to the grown ups who watch the game not listen to Alan Green and the rest of the tossers on the radio. However we cannot comment on Mr Greens commentary as some of us were at the match at the time...!

Did you see what i did there?

Yeah, maybe you should then. I'm sure you'd have less to whinge about then as well.

Fuck me, the Celts are ganging up........scary!

We should all shut the fuck up and get behind the team and accept the fact that Mancini will be here until the end of the season minimum. We will watch a team playing dour dont lose at any cost italian defensive football. Thats how Mancini plays I saw a lot of inter milan when he was there and they were shite to watch but difficult to beat just like we are now becoming. It not his fault its the way he manages, it also must be frustrating to the players who by and large are a squad of attacking incisive players who didnt really get clear defensive coaching and tatics under the Hughes regime, ( I mean what experience did Mark Bowen have of top four and european type matches?) The blame of this frustrating season lies firmly at the door of the management team of Cook Marwood etc the message being dont change the manager in Mid season when he has just assembled a squad he is trying to mould into a team. It had no chance of working, the squad get upset and the new manager has to try and get the dressing room onside from day one which is impossible. I think after all that has happend Mancini has done well to keep us in the top six, yes the football is dross but thats what happens when you brief the new manager to be more defensive.
And dont think it will get better if Mourinho comes, watch Inter this week against Chelsea, the football will be recognisable to those who were at the game yesterday.
Keep behind the team but dont expect Barcelona type football it aint gonna happen with ex serie a managers

I don't have a fucking tv in the car. Do you have anything else going on in life apart from city? Because I do, and as much as I love them, my life doesn't revolve around them

Inter Milan played good football under Mancini

It's stupid and outdated to label English teams as long ball teams, and as stupid to label Italian managers as all being defensive because their nation introduced Catenaccio 50 years ago

I enjoyed the game against Liverpool. The quality of football was very high with the ball moved quickly and accurately under high pressure and rarely given away. The fact that we were unable to get through liverpool's defence in not because we didn't try, but because Liverpool's aims were very limited. They frequently had 11 men behind the ball, and the same team has been all over Europe and stopped teams playing

Yes, i do have a tv in my car and yes i do many things apart from city. However i don't hit a little ball with a f'king stick for miles on end when my team are playing and then come on and say they are shite. Does that answer your question?

I must remember the next time 'The open' is on to pass comment on it...while i'm out rollerblading.

Ah, so the secret is out!

Just as I suspected... a fucking rollerblading addict.

I thought those Aidas you had on last time looked a bit wobbly at times...

This quote sums you up. Accusing all that question your absurd comments of having no life , unlike the Scottish Kenneth Williams that you are. I bow to your superiority, playing at prestigious golf courses unlike the rest of us peasants.
