It's Almost Getting Beyond A Joke

Come on lads leave him alone after all he did catch some commentary on the match in between his golf shots surely that entitles him to lambaste the team today.

i'm sure there are times where anyone f you on here has missed a game for one reason or another, and has managed to get a jist of the game on the radio. as the commentators said, it was a shocking display, and as bbc sport said, it was 'dour'.

chill out and admit that our performances of late have been dreadful

We are chilled and recent performances have not been great. Today by common consensus the performance was a lot better with some real positives to be found in the defensive partnership between Kompany and Lescott. This common consensus has come from people who actually watched the game. You on the other hand were twatting a golf ball around and didn't watch the game - do you see where I am going with this?

So far this season we have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal and drawn with Liverpool at home, 7 points out of 9 from 'the big 4'. We were cheated out of a point at OT and drew with Liverpool at Anfield. We've got the big tests away at Chelsea and Arsenal but I'm confident we'll take three points off the scum in April.
I agree with what somebody said earlier, we've tightened up defensively and now we just need to get the goals rolling again but I think the progress we've made is superb - we'd have lost today under Hughes.
We're still favourites with the bookies to finish 4th. If we haven't moved on from here next season then I think there's reason to get wingy but at the moment we're in the best shape we've been in for decades.

i personally thought 3rd or 4th. but to be playing well

i think you speak a lot of common sense, its always nice to hear from one of our caledonian brothers

by the way if you have some spare time in june i could come and listen to some more of your shrewd and well considered thoughts.

while playing a round on carnastie.

well we're joint 4th with a game in hand so chill the fk out,

today wasnt as bad it it may have sounded on the radio or as bad as bbc sport have made out, ok we werent at our best and for me we played not to a lose and i personally would have taken that than liverpool take the 3 points.

We need an improvement if we are going to get 4th but its in our hands, if you'd have said that to me with 12 games left its in our own hands then i'd be more than happy.

If you dont agree then fair enough but thats your problem not mine.

He might not have been but he is obviously a sight more clued up than a lot of those on here that have.

If anyone thinks that this kind of football with the amount of money we have spent is a) acceptable or b) going to achieve anything more than we would have achieved playing the football we were under Hughes then they are fucking deluded.

What we are watching, from a club that has spent the money we have, is a total disgrace.

As a season ticket holder of 31 years standing, I know my football. Yes, we have seen worse. The football under Pearce was atrocious but there is a hell of a difference between playing shite football when the squad is worth £10 million in total to one that is worth 25 times that value.

It's getting beyond a joke on this forum alright.

We played well today, ok it wasn't a classic for the neutral but it was an absorbing tactical battle which I thought Mancini won hands down. Liverpool were driven to trying to kick us off the park because we controlled the midfield, how often have you seen that happen in the last 30 years? The ref was poor for us but still booked 6 Liverpool players, doesn't that tell you something?
