the only thing i didnt agree with today was irelands substitution, dont get me wrong ireland wasnt playing very well but when your in need for a goal you dont bring someone like ibrahim on. On the other hand i thought de jong and zabaleta player quality today!

liverpool held us not the other way round, positives lescott and kompany solid, zab took a load of stick and never reacted had a good game for me, bridge getting back to fitness, ade worked hard up front without any help from the player behind him,dejong and barry worked hard,johnson had them worried till he took a bit of a knock in the second half, the referee, was a complete t--t, mascherano should have walked, liverpool had six yes six booked,so who was the more desperate of the two teams,i have just listened to radio manchester and all i have heard is negativity,the only positives coming on the air was from ladies making there point, i was ashamed to be listening to these people surrendering to a possible 5th or 6th place, city for me did nothing wrong today we didn't get beat, how many chances had they more than us, well done city well battled?

It was a close game against a well organised team. we were missing our top goal scorer and looked the most likley to win. good performance by the defence and Manu in attack. lacked some creativity in midfeild otherwise a good performance.

We are still in with a good chance of 4th spot and need all our suporters to get behind the team. dont want a bunch of flakey moaning tossers id rather they went someware else. its the first time we have had a chance of qualifying for the champions league lets all try and support the team to acheive it

So far this season we have beaten Chelsea and Arsenal and drawn with Liverpool at home, 7 points out of 9 from 'the big 4'. We were cheated out of a point at OT and drew with Liverpool at Anfield. We've got the big tests away at Chelsea and Arsenal but I'm confident we'll take three points off the scum in April.
I agree with what somebody said earlier, we've tightened up defensively and now we just need to get the goals rolling again but I think the progress we've made is superb - we'd have lost today under Hughes.
We're still favourites with the bookies to finish 4th. If we haven't moved on from here next season then I think there's reason to get wingy but at the moment we're in the best shape we've been in for decades.

Personally, I thought there was a big improvement today, Zab was first class, Adam was excellent (again) and if Ade's thunderbolt had gone in, it would have been all smiles.....

i dont really deserve this shit. i havent once slagged any of you off. its my opinion, ive watched almost every game this season , and yes i admit i shouldn't have started by saying stuff about the performance today when i didnt even watch it, i was wrong. however i listened to it all on the radio, and going by what the commentators were saying and the round up on bbc sport after the match. it was awful. going by the of past month or two, we've been dreadful. but there is absolutely no need to slag me off for playing a game of golf at a prestigious golf course. thats uncalled for. i am as uch a city fan as anyone of you
