I love it too, there's something very 'un-American' about the brand of comedy. It feels a bit more like a British sitcom in its style, so I think that could be why.

Haha i thought i was the only one! i do this all the time, refuse to like anything new until the inevitable hype has passed. I did this for years with South Park

Oh and i've seen the rocky films, it most definitely is not always sunny in Philadelphia!

There have been 7 series of it already, not currently on. New series starts in October. I'm sure you can download/buy them from somewhere. Highly recommend to do so.
