I reckon its not going to be a busy evening. What I do believe is that somewhere behind the scenes someone at UEFA has shot some serious warning shots across our bows this summer about our losses, and the club have taken it very seriously - therefore I for one am not expecting any bombs tomorrow, I think we are being very very deferential towards uefa

at that same draw can anyone tell me why every time a shit team like Cluj came out then our group was not one that they could go into, but when someone like Dortmund came out then our's was the only one they could go into?

They publicly threatened us at the Champions League draw today by saying out loud that teams breaching FFP would be punished. They are hellbent on preserving the status quo and they have succeeded. We have hit the brakes when a couple more top signings would have moved us into top gear for an assault on the Champions League.

Its to do with the tv deal I think and the fact that Malaga had to go in a certain pot earlier due to not having three Spanish teams on one match day meant that they had to go there and Dortmund into our group.

Can see exactly what you are saying here but how have Chelsea managed to get away with spending so much?

they will have brought in a lot of revenue off the CL win, and their losses have reduced a lot over the last couple of years (I assume this is the key issue, rather than uefa being blatantly anti-arab)

What about psg then they didn't win fuck all but have spent gazillions.

I see your point, but I think people have a right to panic a little as there is only 24 hours left and we have heard very little with any substance. Mainly rumours on here. On the face of it swapping Rodwell for de Jong is a downgrade. I simply cannot believe we don't have someone superior lined up.

On the face of it swapping Rodwell for de Jong is a downgrade. I simply cannot believe we don't have someone superior lined up.

Yeah panic on Bluemoon will make a real differnece to both our signings and our season

Simple we are being shafted imo,certain noses have been put out of joint,together with a snobbishness against us from some clubs,get the feeling we are not wanted fullstop...on another issue does mansour or any of his family's companys have sponsorship with uefa..

Weird thing to say. I never said it would. But going from your logic is there any point in this forum then, as NOTHING we say on here will affect what city do. Therefore, why are any of us here.
