I feel obliged to have a bit of a rant here so please bear with me.First of all i have spoken to my friend who is well up the ladder at City and is involved on a daily basis with players,officials and media issues in general. He told me that despite the comments which appeared on here(BM) over the weekend, after the Boateng article on the OS, that nothing would happen today, the throw away comment at the end of the article was just to give notice of a video interview with the player.
Right, this enables me to have a whinge about the content of this forum which has frankly deteriorated over the last year.This time last summer a number of well intentioned posters were willing to give members of this board the benefit of their snippets of information,they received abuse by the bucketful in return. Little surprise that they have almost all dissappeared from view. I only posted one or two items where I had knowledge of what was going on but after receiving a right battering I decided that it wasn't worth it. I kept the info to a small circle, one or two of them passed info on where appropriate. Like most people who have a certain knowledge of the workings of the club I wouldn't divulge anything sensitive but some things can be revealed.
There is a school of thought which says that so called ITKs are just egotists showing off but some clearly aren't, in my book there are those who spend their time slagging others off are as bad, in that they seek to draw attention to themselves, they are as bad as those who make up stories without foundation.
The answer is easy, if you want to have a vibrant and interesting forum then allow those who can provide info to do so without descending into spiteful abuse.If you don't like the thread then ignore it, the WUMs would soon get tired.

I will say one thing about ITK's and that is they are all sensitive souls who are forever taking their ball home in a flood of tears. The information on the transfer forum is 99% fantasy and 1% third hand gossip mixed with educated guesswork. It is a bit of fun and does no harm unless you are pig shit stupid and believe any of it.

As for this trend of ITK's only sharing gossip with a small circle of trusted souls whilst at the same time claiming they are bursting with info too sensitive to divulge (oh you are such a tease) well what do you want? A round of applause? Or just an inbox full of PM's begging to be included within the Golden Circle of Truth?

Stop whining and post gossip. If its on the money people on here will suck your dick. If it ain't they they will chop you balls off. Just don't be a baby about it.
