A frantic girl comes into our library having major IT problems and desperately needing her CV and some other bits printing off to take along to a job interview which starts in ten minutes.
All our PCs are busy, but no bother, I'll print it on mine.

Right on cue, the printer jams and then blows up, covering my face and shirt in magenta ink.

The girl's panicking, filling up, so I get my thinking cap on and fly next door to the Tourist Information Office, past their miserable counter staff and bang on their office door and get their supervisor to print the girl's stuff.

Net result: the girl gets to her interview on time and gets the job, and I'm her hero.

Dunno quite how Karma is scored these days, but if that ain't worth a cheeky 1-0 against Bolton, I don't know what is.

So.....If something bad happens, City should win???

I'm off to trip up some old codgers!

You sound like Alvin Lee out of a book called "Where there's a Will" JOTS ;-)

You read it? It's quite funny and well written and the Lee character is one that you don't forget in a hurry.

Oh, and well done.

I haven't had the pleasure of that one, Mackenzie! And cheers!

Turns out she also emailed them upstairs. Which is great, as it also transpires that I've got a promotion interview next week. Karma.
