It's not Pellers..It's not even the team..

I think you are spot on & Silva has been carrying an injury & therefore been shit. It's not just affecting his body it's playing on his mind & ruining his game, now he is injured properly. Previously we had several spells where Aguero was carrying an injury & playing shit, only to break down again. This last time, we have got away with it & rather than breaking down, he has got fit. We have seen Kompany come back, walk on & walk off. Negredo said he was used whilst injured & sruggled, Jovetic, I recon there are loads more.

How many of these unfit players have actually played well when played unfit, & how many have actually made the team worse by being ineffective & got injured again ?

How about we just let them get fully fit, then bring them back gradually off the bench, thus having a stronger team on the pitch rather than carrying half fit players as well as Yaya etc ?

Completely agree. With Silva, his decision making has been abnormally poor as well as his execution. He is clearly being played in the hope that he can still produce something, which seems to be Pellegrini's tactics in a nutshell.

Sorry your wrong a total clueless manager his set up for big games is just woeful he makes good players look bad and makes average opposition against us look world class

Absolutely. There's not a single player at our club who is a better player than when Pellegrini took over. He's even managed to make our new signings since he's been here worse than they were at their previous clubs.

Well for starters he didn't have Mangala who was arguably our best player that day, his pace was a real asset against their attempted counters.

Conceding from a set piece after a couple of minutes also fucks up whatever game plan he started with so that's another factor.

I can agree with that, Rolee. It's nice to see someone else appreciates The Mangler. But if we can overcome a deficit v EFC in the COC, an early concession especially after two mins should galvanise us. it didn't. We just followed either the Jekyll or the Hyde game plan, can't remember which is which, and it got steadily worse.

it is Pellegrini, it is some players that just havent performed. Some need a kick up their arse but Pellegrini cant do that when his head is up there. Everyone has injuries, we have the biggest squad in the league, so we musn't have the best squad in term of quality on that logic.

It is not true we don't have the biggest squad in the league. In our 25 man squad we have18 outfield players and 3 keepers. We could have 23 outfield players and 2 keepers. On our under 21 list we only have 2 players who have started premier league games. This is Pellegrinis choice to have a small squad ,not blood young players and it is coming back to bite him.

While I don't think that injuries only have placed us in the position we're in, we have had 51 separate injuries this season, the most in the league, compared to Leicester's 15.

But surely having that many injuries isn't all bad luck. Surely something has gone wrong with the fitness management for that many to occur.

Can't remember his name but the guy we have in charge was known as Dr hamstring at Spurs. They had a shocking injury record under him.

Sorry you can't blame poor performance on injuries when we have so much young talent coming through the club that we could use. We need to bring them on they can compete with the best i believe that wholeheartedly. If we are in such a shitty position what do we have to lose? Too much young talent gets lost without ever showing their true potential

You say injuries like it is bad luck.

If you continue to play more or less the same team in the early rounds of the cups them don't complain when you get muscle injuries later on in the season.

It's bad game management and nothing else and that comes from a weak manager.
