Watching the United / Liverpool game today left me with the feeling that it's now time for our players to step up to the plate and take this league by the scruffs, this isn't a moan it's my thoughts on where we are right now, I really think we are better than them at the moment but it's a close call unlike earlier in the season.

United are showing signs of starting to play well again in patches and if that clicks into gear fully we are going to struggle to win the league this year
 
I posted in another thread, we really need to win tomorrow, if we win our next two games we'll go five points clear before they play again. Also, four of our next six games after that are at home and we'll have Yaya back after tomorrow too! Time to put our foot down now...Come on City!!
 
tbh i can see us being even stronger next year, the only reason we had wobbles due to toures going to anc,vinne being hung out to dry, and mario, well being mario. we had no experienced cover for vinnie. i think a few wise moves into transfer market come summer, will see us a lot stronger and have more strength in depth. can see us retaining title next season

I heard this too. It's bad news and I'm now looking for a new team to support. I need to know who merson says is going to win the league in the next few years though.
