A game of bluff going on from Tevez camp and our side.

He wants Milan, but also knows we would like to sell to land Van Persie.

Mancini saying we are sticking with what we got throws ball back in his court.

But it all comes down to us not handing him a pay-off in trying to move him on.

In essence, how badly do they want Tevez, and how long we are prepared to allow Van Persie to consider his other options.

Both Tevez and Mancini have given themselves the fall-back option of nothing coming to fruition.

So these 4 Signings Tolm....are you covering all your options here?

IMO Dzeko will leave first, if both left would Cavani or Falcao come back into the firing line?

Does anyone else find it a bit odd that whoever tweets on our official Twitter page tweeted about being linked with Victor Wanyama and M'Baye Niang. I can't imagine another club doing that.

Why boom shake the room then tolmie? What you've put there makes it sound as though there will be nothing happening fast

I can't see Tevez working out. Hope he goes but I have a feeling he's ours for 2 years and then he leaves at 30 on a bosman and signs mega-deal with whomever he chooses to play for.

Is it just me that's not panicking about CB situation?

I agree we could do with cover but i wouldn't panic, Micah and Yaya are more than competent to fill in if needed

I'm the same and we still have Kolo and several younger players that can fill in during small emergencies. Longer term injury is a different matter, but that's not precisely something you can plan for as most high-class players don't like sitting on the bench just in case.

I agree, I don't think it is the priority that people are making it out to be. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rekik involved if necessary. He plays like he is 10 years older than his age and seems far more competent than Savic/Boyata. Richards was brilliant when he filled in as well.

we probably do need to sort before the window ends

fighting on 4 fronts pretty much demands it and the last thing we need is taking yaya out of midfield in a big cl game etc

If we keep Kolo, I'm not panicking.

If Yaya is the possible solution, we are talking about using a bloke who has never played a game at centre back in our league & has been responsible for goals against, losing his man on set pieces, on quite a few occasions.

I don't trust Savic or Dedryk at all.

Kolo & Micah are decent short term solutions, if we get injuries.

So does Mancini have any money to spend or does he have to sell to buy?

Well he just got a new contract and i saw him in DFS the other day. Had a chat and he said he was just throwing is old sofa away so doesn't look like he has to sell to buy at the moment

Disagree

Yaya is our key man time and time again last season he was pushed forward when things were not happening - Newcastle being a prime example

Putting Yaya as a centre back is ridiculas we lose far more than we gain

Sucess and failure is marginal - The error that Savic made against Spuds was almost terminal - only a shit pass from Bale? allolwed us to get away with it

Factor in the ACON we could lose Kolo and Yaya then sorry but we are short

Obviously it depends upon which games but i really really dont want to into a game of the significance of Spuds with a half cocked make do defence - Savic needs some oppportunities and normally he would get a chance but with Kolo whom could go to the ACON then one of them has to go and be replaced unless Kolo aint picked - unlikely i suspect
