IM SOOOOOOOOOOOOO BORED

I think i could get excited about a new physio its been so tedious this summer
Goalkeepers Joe Hart (ENG) Costel Pantilimon (ROM) Gunnar Nielsen (FAR)

Defenders Dedryck Boyata* (BEL) Aleksandar Kolarov (SERB) Vincent Kompany (BEL) Gael Clichy (FRA) Joleon Lescott (ENG) Stefan Savic (MON) Micah Richards (ENG) Kolo Toure (CIV) Pablo Zabaleta (ARG)

Midfielders Gareth Barry (ENG) Abdisalam Ibrahim* (NOR) Adam Johnson (ENG) Michael Johnson* (ENG) Nigel de Jong (NED) James Milner (ENG) Samir Nasri (FRA) Abdul Razak (CIV) David Silva (ESP) Yaya Toure (CIV) Vladimir Weiss* (SVK)

Strikers Emmanuel Adebayor* (TGO) Mario Balotelli (IT) Edin Dzeko (BIH) Sergio Aguero (ARG) Roque Santa Cruz* (PRY) Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely* (ENG) Carlos Tevez (ARG) John Guidetti (SWE)

Management Roberto Mancini Brian Kidd David Platt Attilio Lombardo Fausto Salsano Ivan Carminati Massimo Battara

How anyone would NOT be excited with a squad like that is mystifying to me. Sure we could do with one or two more and shift the deadwood but ffs look!!

IMO the lack of activity in the transfer market is reassuring...it suggests that we havent got far to go for Mancinis contentment. It also means we can afford to take our time to ensure any signings we do make will be the right ones.

Do you not think by taking our time we may miss out on some players?

Nope...quite the opposite. I think we can afford to eye up our options and be patient with our targets. Thats not to say nothing is going on behind the scenes. I just feel we dont need to enter into a financial and very public dick measuring contest like we did in previous seasons given the squad we already have.

Pescara hope to sign Weiss in the next 48 hours but are trying to get him cheaper than City's asking price (could include the young goalkeeper Luca Savelloni). Would be nice if just one Italian club could pay what a player is worth for once!

Has Weiss travelled with City Squad to China?

No idea, they want him for around £1.5million which is ridiculous! Given our complete lack of wingers, we may as well keep him than sell him for that. He's worth at least £4million IMO.

BTW this is what we should be doing with all our kids now: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.turkish-football.com/news_read.php?id=3243" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.turkish-football.com/news_read.php?id=3243</a>
