It's quiet 10, no apologies! (continued)

Is there a press conference today? Since the last one it seems we've been given false hope and are just sitting in the dark over who we want. Another press conference would shed some light.

Just been past Carrington and their is a van with large satelite dish at the training ground - this may be the norm. but just thought I would pass it on .

I bet that satellite dish is bigger than the one that's on that house that's just down the road from the Townley pub.

I have been keeping myself entertained by counting the number of maltesers I have in my pack each day! 16 today! Stay tuned for Monday's count!!!

Can you categorically say Marwood is responsible for targeting the above players or was it the manager?

Personal opinion - His role in us being successful was from what I know is the function of buying players. He did not coach the team, that was Mancini and his staff.

I don't base my opinions on reading the press etc. I base it on bits of information I get from people I work with and come into contact with.

You are answering your own question!

You admit you have no idea what he does, and neither do I.

Yet he's doing a bad job because we've signed no-one yet this season!

And if you don't know what he's doing wrong, can I suggest you ask your mates to point you in the right direction seeing as they are so on the ball with the inner workings of the club.

Like I asked earlier, what is it he's doing wrong in your opinion... given the fact that as Football Administrator he's overseen the development of the Academy redevelopment, he's been involved in signing some of the best players in the world, and he's been a part of the team that won City the Premiership last season.

I think you need to shag someone tonight before you explode!

This seems to be a classic example of a spoilt kid expecting major transfer after major transfer every transfer window because of the major overhaul City have had since the take-over. It can't be done every season and more importantly, it's not neccessary.

I really don't understand why there has to be a 'wrong cog' somewhere just because Marwood & Mancini haven't already gone out and spent £100m again.

I ain't no spoilt kid mate. Been supporting the club for well over 37 years. Got nothing to do with spending shit loads, just to do with timing of purchases and some of the characters running the show and opinions of those said characters.

I agree we don't need to spend millions, just when and how we do it.

The "wrong cog" line of thinking comes from the Football Manager generation, who think that pressing a "make offer" button is all you need to do to bid for a player. Then when they say what they want, offer them the contract and press the button again. Done, player signed, easy!

So why can't Marwood do it?!?!?!

There's a definite rag-like attitude creeping in,an arrogance that makes people think as Champions (still feels good typing that) we can sign who we want, when we want. Previous transfer windows have spoilt us,and like a spoilt kid at Christmas,we want MORE.
