Still no Silva contract, what is the cut-off date for contract talks? August 31st?

If anyone actually believes for a single second that RVP is coming in to the swamp so that they can sell Rooney either now or in the future, they are deluded. There is a 0% chance of the rags considering Rooney going. Fergie thought Roy Keane was an absolute **** too, but he still had him captain an never sold him til he was past it.

I agree, they've been sniffing around both Cavani and Hulk for weeks now in hope to replace Drogba

You think Cavani is going to Chelsea?

Wtf is going on with us? We won the league, why aren't we in for Cavani, yet instead there are rumors about Sinclair who isn't even Swansea's best player.

Why have we decided now to scale back when our squad isn't good enough to go for the league and the champions league? Plenty with blue specs will disagree but we saw this last year.

If it's between us and Chelsea in my opinion he'd end up at Chelsea.

My reason for the above, i just don't think we'll pay the package that he'd be expecting. If we was happy to pay that sort of money RVP would already be here.

I admit we currently have 4 superb strikers, no question about that, but Tevez is on the last year of his contract isn't he?

If thats right, then he could walk for free next summer ... this is why I think we should be looking at the likes of Cavani now.

I just hope the fact he states he wants to remain at Napoli for the time being, actually works in our favour, as I think he'd be awesome alongside Aguero.

You can't honestly believe Bobby upwards are doing nothing. So it's not in the press, so no ITKs have given any clues, so what! City are going forward just leave them to get on with their jobs.

There is a Flapper Thread if you're really that impatient

It's not about being impatient or flapping; it's about getting our targets in, preferably before the season kicks-off in less than two weeks time.

I've no doubt City are doing things but are they doing the right things, making the right decisions? I don't know the answer to that but I'm damn sure that we need to strengthen our squad for the new season in order to ensure that we remain the best team in England and so that we have a better chance of success in the UCL.

Because of FFPR we have literally NO money.

Of course we have money. How much we can afford to spend without infringing FFPR is something that we on the outside do not know; just has we don't know if FFPR will ultimately have any teeth. I'd strengthen the team first and worry about FFPR second but that's easy for me to say.

Cavani was utter shite at the Olympics. Don't get me wrong, he has scored some important important goals for Napoli, but from what I can see a lot of those goals were 'in the right place at the right time' efforts. Like some of Dzeko's important goals for us. Now I am in no way a big fan of Dzeko, so if were in favour definitely thinking of selling him on I just think we need to plan very carefully what type of player we are looking to replace him with. The price that Cavani is going to go for will be huge, so if we could get Falcao for that price then we should look in that direction.

I'd laugh if we slapped in a bid for Rooney as soon as they sign van Persie, their arses would capitulate.

I'd be truly amazed if Van Persie ends up at the swamp. United won't pay top dollar for a 29 year old with no resale value and injury prone on their limited funds. That would be the biggest departure in their transfer policy I can remember.

It's Juve or humble pie at Wengers pad for Van Persie.

THIS IS A RUMOUR, FROM TWITTER BY TRANSFER CENTRAL

There we go, can't blame me for any of this now if it's all bollocks !

We are set to finalise the signing of Lazio star youngster Vlad Marin for €400,000.
