I've only recently got back to reading Bluemoon full time. Last year there was lots of talk about Honda signing for us.

What happened there? Mere newspaper bullshit or did we ever make bid?

It depended on Tevez. If Pato had gone to PSG and Tevez, to Milan, then we could have had Honda. But, as Pato's move to PSG was blocked by Barbara (Berlusconi's daughter), Tevez' move to Milan collapsed and no one else wanted Tevez, so he stayed with us. Honda's club refuses to let him go cheaply anyway. I am hearing even if he rejects singing a new contract, the club is apparently happy to hang on to him until the end of his contract.

A good player but not of the type we need to prioritise.

As its his last big pay day,as well as regular football,he'll want the best deal he can get,he'll get that at a club who need him.
