Not really sure what people's fixation is with identifying someone as a "Pep player" or not. I wouldn't describe de Bruyne as one, for instance, or Walker or Dias and there are plenty of others too.

I just think as long as you've got talent as well as the desire to follow instructions and help the team rather than playing for yourself then he'll work out how to bring your best qualities into the team.

Despite his track record of reinventing his team's and working with all different types of players, people still seem to have this idea that Pep is some kind of inflexible manager who only chooses to work with players with specific attributes.

Not only this, but even when they are proven wrong, they don’t learn. I heard countless times here everytime I suggested Lukaku “he will never play for Pep”, and guess what, Pep wanted the guy at some point.
I suspect the reason Pep wanted him is because he saw Lukaku thrive at the hands of a manager he admires, which is Conte.
And this may surprise some people, but Pep likes and admires Simeone. I have a slight feeling that Pep’s opinion of a player that has been with the Argentinian for some years and not done well is not so positive. Especially when Simeone turned, for instance, Griezmann into a world class player.
