Before anybody leaves we have to address those that have effectively left Mendy, for me i would bring in Spence, he showed up well against PL teams has better pace and the ability but not the cross, that would mean Cancelo moving to his best position left back, Fernandinho, Renalto Sanches not quite as good as Fernandinho in his pomp but a damn sight quicker that Rodri, Sane now i know we bought Torres and Grealish to replace the replacement but none have what made Sane so good for us, pace,our lack of pace as a team shows up badly when playing the better sides, for that i would buy Doku, which leaves Aguero the only position it is understandable to wait for, providing we actually get Haaland.

Who is Spence mate?
 
Fwiw Doku's agent is Jonathan Barnett, and based off last summer I'm sure we're on good terms.
 
The problem is people always come up with names that are flavour of the month because they have seen them have a good game or two on TV or seen media hype

I am sure that City have a much better way of assessing players. Players will have been recruited based on a number of factors, personality, ability, team fit, etc.

There will always be hits and misses and others have slow starts and vice-versa. Look at Messi for example according to reports they are disappointed at PSG in him. Most people would have thought Messi would seamlessly fit in wherever he went

I am sure we take gambles with youth players but we have the CFG system that enables us to develop, loan and sell if there potential doesn't reach expected levels

Our recruitment is up there with the very best but it doesn't mean you will get every player that you go for but there is not a better run club in the world for me

Doku would be such an amazing signing. That kid's dribbling is absolutely phenomenal. I watched him at Euros, at first I was like 'who tf is this kid?' and then I saw him dribble and control the ball literally like prime Messi. I couldn't believe it.
