I don’t mind selling Sterling to Chelsea for £40m+, it funds another signing in an area we need it more, Chelsea are miles off it, he’ll leave for a free next summer regardless and I he’ll get even less game time next year than ever before.

The club has to be run properly to compete at the top consistently and sometimes that involves letting good players go for good money when the time is right. Now feels like that time to me.

Not adding a winger and losing two will kill us in the long run what are we going to do if Alvarez gets injured, play Grealish in every cup comp and league game. Injuries nearly derailed us last season in the second half of the season.

We’ve gained two though and have palmer coming in. Injuries didn’t derail us last season, not scoring in the champions league did.
