Staying and fighting for his place is good, but if he won't sign a new contract then its better to cash in with a year left.Sterling will be a massive loss
I hope he sees sense and stays and fights for his place
I find it amusing how everyone suddenly rates Alvarez as a world beater
I suspect the majority had never heard of him until he signed
He is now in the hardest league in the world I hope he succeeds
Whereas Sterling has already done so
If we kept Sterling and Jesus, that would put us in a position that those 2 can leave for free in a year, along with Gundog and Mahrez who are also out of contract in a year.
You can't run a football club like that.
