They didn't really want to pay that, so we have proposed a solution.

It would mean James and £40m coming to us.

I don't see it as such,as we are getting amazing money,more than could be expected,for Sterling and Ake in that proposal.

James is about as good as we could get,a Micah Richards with technique.

It would be phenomenal,hence why I can't see it.

I'm sorry but he's nowhere near Walker. Defensively better than Cancelo perhaps but that's it.

We have spent £110m so far on Haaland, Phillips and Alvarez.

We are selling players on the fringes, non-starters.

Raz, Gabby, Ake, Zin, Steffen, Torres, Bazunu, Fern, Gyani, Egan-Riley, Edozie, Porro.

That's almost £285m right there. All not guaranteed starters or fringe squad.

Haaland, Alvarez and Phillips in so far @ £110m.
