It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

How did Bony fail with us after he was top scorer in the league the year before?

Knowing the league isn’t as big a deal as pundits make it out to be.

It just makes the league sound better.

Yaya said that Bony got a big payday, got lazy, and put his feet up.
Bony suffered a bout of malaria shortly after joining City.

We've seen many great players struggle to adapt in their first season. Going with two strikers with no experience of English football is risky.

Let's just hope they both hit the ground running!

Why excluding Torres while including Alvarez? Both should be included...the balance from those 2 deals has been carried directly into this window...

Haaland will be in all the right places. The other attacking players just need to learn his movements and know when he’s going to fake a run in one direction to create space in the other etc.

Please no one compare Sterling to Haaland...the parochialism is getting to be embarrassing...just sayin'
