It feels a bit like one out and one in at the moment? I would have thought we were well ahead of the game in FFP wages and amortisation? Or is it squad numbers?
You do the @oakiecokieIt feels a bit like one out and one in at the moment?
Or you could say he managed his resources.stone him.
you can't say Pep threw a semi final even though he did.
Another poster said Steffen cost us. Changing our keeper to give minutes to a much inferior keeper who lost us the semi the year before, isn’t a change for a reason in my book. Considering we had to play a back 4 who had never played together, not once you’d say picking his first choice keeper wouldn’t have been a problem, had he been arsed. He isn’t that arsed about the fa cup. It gets in the way of the prem and cl I think for him at that time. It’s why our record is shite in it under him and the opposite for the league cup as it’s done and dusted by the end of feb. As Bill says it’s his stance on it and so be it, I’d rather us lose early on if that’s the case but let’s not pretend he doesn’t do it. There was no excuse against Chelsea for the amount of changes if people want to use Atletico as an excuse this time round. It’s just what he does. I love him but can acknowledge this alsoThrowing would be making changes for no reason. He didn’t make changes for no reason. Possibly reasons you didn’t get, but thats neither here nor there.
I reckon @Mad Eyed Screamer has one of those in his wardrobe somewhere!Went particularly well with Ian Wallace’s ginger afro….

That kit is now a cult classic and massive collector’s item, genuine ones go for hundreds of pounds
Which goes back to my original point where all this started. We can’t get to an fa every year and “manage resources” by making 7 plus changes to a winning side then expect a positive result. We have the money to build a squad, it’s madness that we then claim every semi final we have to field a much weakened team consider our spend under pep has been more than anybody else.Or you could say he managed his resources.

Don't be ridiculous.Reminds me of a prime Eliaquim Mangala
Of course he changed keeper for a reason, he didn’t do it to intentionally lose the game. It’s a reason you don’t agree with, fine thats your choice, Pep thought differently. Making changes you don’t happen to agree with isn’t losing a game on purpose though and thinking Pep is intentionally losing a game is a bit disrespectful.Another poster said Steffen cost us.
