It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Hopefully leeds go down and we can get Gnonto on the cheap
You’ve now got me cheering on anyone Leeds play! He’s young and wouldn’t as cost much if they went down we could genuinely get him as an extra, we obviously want a more established winger but him as well would be great. Southampton and Bournemouth seem down, Everton aren’t great but with Dyche they could, think Leeds are seriously in trouble, played well tonight though at the crumbling shit hole.

Foden deserves everything next season, we have hung him out to dry these past 2-3 seasons by not playing him in his preferred position. Get him in the midfield and watch him thrive, I understand that his body language might not be good or he is fighting in training with cancelo
Have you ever played any team sport? No player deserves or automatically gets anything because they are the local lad, the life long fan or whatever. You need to earn what you get, at least you should. I would think Pep would agree with me.

Who do people reckon the second midfielder will be? If they are high enough profile then that would mean foden will have more time on the wings again even though he needs to be first name in the midfield from next season
Possibly nunes from wolves or de Jong from Barca or someone completely left field who we have been scouting. Maybe the Porto lad.

We are selling to Barcelona, the "discount is mandatory".
We cant even capitalize on their players having unrest. Gavi has stated that if Bernado comes to Barcelona, he won't stay..., why aren't we using this to our advantage?
was torres discounted ? how many players have we sold to barca been "discounted" ? , and as for gavi how do you know we aren't using it to our advantage ?

you are trying to make out you do have a clue what's going on, when really you dont

He’s not just a local lad is he. He’s one of the most gifted players that has ever come through an Academy, his natural position during the academy was attacking midfielder so when he goes to the first team we already have silva and Kdb so there wasn’t a chance for him to get in.
He’s earned his spot as much as anyone he been put in cf for a season where he’s getting hardly any touches of the ball and LW where he also doesn’t get enough of the ball, plus he hasn’t had a actual left back to make it easier for him on the wing.
A natural midfielder thrives off having the ball at their feet most of the game and he hasn’t been getting that these past seasons. We are a team begging for creativity from midfield and that is what Foden possesses. So how you can honestly say he hasn’t earned a spot in midfield baffles me.
I understand his body language isn’t the best at the moment I’m never going to doubt him trying his best when he’s got a city shirt on.

I've no doubt we'll have money set aside for a huge transfer window but the issue is whether our targets, Bellingham included, would want to come to us at this moment in time given the uncertainty of the clubs status. We'll have a hard enough job stopping players like Haaland wanting out early due to this weeks news. Careers are short and top players will probably not want to take the "risk" with City now. It's just my opinion and I may be doing some a disservice but I suspect we're in for a tough old time on the squad front.
flappity flappity flap, fuck me grow a pair

Nevermind anything I've tried tell you. By the way, you completely avoided my question as to whether you have played any organised team sport. I'm assuming the answer is no. I'll also assume you haven't been a part of any team be it military, police, fire or anything like that. You'd understand what I am trying to tell you beyond what you feel in your heart.

Good day sir or madam.
