It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

As City are, reportedly by mr. Obvious, looking at a fullback (now left-back) and a midfielder (im guessing defensive mid)... Who could these two be? Left-backs, i've seen like zero links to one. And defensive mid, replacing ferna... Nunes, Enzo nor Bellingham are defensive mids, are they?

Very curious what City are looking for. Doesn't sound like they are out to spend a lot of cash either...
 
I'd be surprised if we are looking for a LB more than a RB. Cancelo has played better on the left, for me, and Ake and Zinchenko are both more than capable of holding the post, as is Laporte at a push. Even if Zinny leaves, which I can't quite see, that feels like about enough. Meanwhile, presuming Cancelo stays on the left, we literally only have one RB, with Stones covering if needed. Walker isn't getting any younger, either. A young RB would be the best bet, for me.

Why would anyone at City make any comment on ridiculous media insinuations? They have more important and better things to do then worry about what utter tripe the media spit out.

We've announced the deal, Haaland has a game on the weekend, we have a title to wrap up so we're all tied up elsewhere on more important things. The time for Erling and the club to speak will come July 1st.

People should just enjoy the fact we've signed Erling, and enjoy the ride instead of biting at every ridiculous media report that pops up or bollocks from faceless Twitter accounts.

I don't believe for one second there is a release clause. Not because of what Gus, Tolmie or anyone else says, not because of what I think of Bild, but because purely based everything that I know to have happened to date, at least as publicly available.
