Didn’t listen to it. He tweeted to advertise it was coming up, to which I questioned if he’d be saying there’s still no agreement. He actually replied to me with some laughing emoji or something. It’s clear he’s fully aware he’s stealing a living.

Exactly. He's been the perfect example of someone gilding the lily simply because he is Norwegian and, as a result, overstated his relationship.

All the secrets to the Haaland deal...amazing insight from people who had him going everywhere but City and some who had Mino seemingly doing air miles from his death bed for the last two months.

I don't have an answer for you on that, perhaps Mendy would want to leave the UK anyway if he avoids prison?

Paying him off creates a story though. I think we'll just let his contract run down as quietly as possible
