I’m sure Pep will say that if it is the case. It also solve the problem of what to do with Foden/Grealish now the false 9.

As per @tolmie's hairdoo ... No, City will sign 5 players (Alvarez and Haaland included) which pretty much points towards Ferna and gundo replacements and a fullbackFoden moves to midfield, Alvarez replaces Foden in the front 3.
Plus Haaland playing will mean midfielders not playing false 9.

Not ideal to lose your Captain and Vice Captain in one window.
On the face of it, no. Fernandinho needs to go though and I think we can upgrade on gundogan, whilst I also think he's a poor choice for a captain or vice captain (his speech saying how scared he was pre champions league final wasn't exactly inspirational)
It's time to refresh and upgrade I think, just hope we get a top replacement for ilkay. All the best to him he's been a very good player for us, but I can see why he's leaving (injuries, doesn't fit well with kev in midfield, past his peak, think we can upgrade)
