Don't think mutually exclusive. As he says, if still enjoying, players are responding, etc.
Really don't think we have to worry.
Unless we now go for it. It wouldn’t be the first time a player had come out and said I’m not leaving then leaves. Just depends on whether you think we’d really pay it and want BellinghamIf Gundogan and Fernandinho leave in the Summer, and we replace them both, it would seem unlikely that we sign Bellingham in 2023.

I think the wheels could be turning on Felix.
FDJ is distanced by City, but his people are really pushing it now, probably because of United making their own offer.
If Gundo and Fern are leaving
GK (3) Eddie Steffen Carson (fine but could see a shuffle of back ups)
FB (3) Walker Cancelo Zin (needs +1 at least)
CB (4) Stones Dias Laporte Ake (solid with THB integrating back or out again?)
DM (1) Rodri (needs +1 solid back up and +1 rotation from AM role)
AM (4) KDB Bernie Foden Grealish (needs +1 at least that can also rotate DM)
Winger (3) Mahrez Sterling Jesus (needs +1 but all could be gone in next 12 months)
ST (2) Haaland Alvarez (done)
So I have us needing at least another 4 (6 total) ready to contribute straight away. More if anyone else leaves. 5 in wont be enough. 2 for every position if we want to compete on all fronts again

Back up DM (fern replacement)
Rotational DM/AM (gundo replacement)
Quick technical winger (gap in squad)

Think it’d be nearly impossible to get so many big deals done in one summer.
