I'd also be chuffed for Gabby. For any South American player to end up at Real Madrid, it can still be considered the pinnacle.
I'd rather he went to Madrid, he deserves better tham Arsenal imo. But if his main goal is playing time and in an unfalse 9 role (tm), then I coild see him choosing Arsenal. He'd be as much a squad player at Real as he would here. Particularly as they already have Benzema, and Mbappe.

I really really hope Gabby goes to Real Madrid, It would be a great move for the lad. I'd hate to see him stay in the Premier League and play against us.
I don't think they see cucurella as a zinny replacement- i think that trabsfed was planned way before any suggestion zinny may leave.I know some think Zin will stay but don’t see it. He’s off imo, especially with Cucurella coming in.
I think we go for a young promising rb as cover for walker with cancell and cucurella as the LB's tbh.
He isn't easy to replace. Has rarely let us down when he had played for us.

People seem to think Bazuna will turn out to be an amazing player so shame he won’t extend on big pay and take a loan to a club where he would be first choice don’t see the down side for him. But once he has chosen not to extend looks like a good deal for city

Most of the time the option is for around 2 years and then expires after that if not used.
This is why this buyback seems useless to me, Ederson will still be in his prime in 2 years. Unless his form massively drops with Bazunu also impressing like crazy, I don't see us bringing him back.
