Ask him if our two next signing have curly hair ;)

BOOMFive seasons of having unfilled gaps and playing players out of position; it will be interesting to see how we fare when we have no gaps and players playing in the positions in which they feel most comfortable.
Bet your house that City will find a way to have a least one unfilled gap when the season starts ;)Five seasons of having unfilled gaps and playing players out of position; it will be interesting to see how we fare when we have no gaps and players playing in the positions in which they feel most comfortable.
Kyle Walker in goal?Bet your house that City will find a way to have a least one unfilled gap when the season starts ;)
This is a fair point. I'll admit I wasn't a fan of Kyle Walker before he joined but maybe that's because I'd spent so long "hating" him for Spurs.
I hope you're right, for what it's worth, but I totally understand why some would be underwhelmed with the links. I guess it's the same way some people felt when we signed Ake, not that I agreed with them.
Walker had had a go at us on Twitter too, if I remember correctly,Walker and Sterling got a lot of hate when they links first appeared and generally the feeling was that they were overpriced. I see similar arguments now with Phillips. My feeling is that, without getting too deep into "Pep and Txiki know best" cliches, Pep and Txiki know best. ;)
Randomly, Ferran Soriano was just on the same flight as me. Going to mither him for transfer info whilst we wait for our luggage.
Always think you have to wait for the window to close and see who has not left before you can begin to decide whether the window has been a success, but there’s currently only two gaps to fill and our interest in who should fill these gaps is known. I think we’ll finally fill those gaps this summer, though given it could be Guardiola’s final year, that would be rather ironic.Bet your house that City will find a way to have a least one unfilled gap when the season starts ;)

Go back 2 seasons and insert the names Rhodri and Fernandino.I'll be honest I still can't get on board with the Phillips signing. It's got nothing to do with him coming from Leeds. I appreciate we can't bring in another Rodri but the drop in quality from Rodders to Phillips is stark; he'd be a sufficient squad player but if he has to replace Rodri for any lengthy period of time that significantly weakens us in my opinion. By all accounts he won't come cheap now Leeds have avoided relegation, so I'd rather the club spend an additional £10-20mil on a midfielder with Pep DNA.
