Everyone says we need a LB, and maybe we do, but it often feels like we need a RB for me. I'm fine with Cancelo on the left, but if Walker isn't being used, for whatever reason, Cancelo is shunted back over there again.

Maybe, but if Cancelo is unavailable there isn’t a player in the squad that give us an attacking threat in the full back position.

Do you think a left footed LB would be useful it Haaland signs on? Someone to whip in accurate crosses to the giant Norwegian.

I agree though, I feel a RB is more needed ATM.

Cancelo being our only LB causes so many problems with the CB selections, and the winger ahead of him having to stick on the touchline to provide width. Our best CB pairing is Dias and Stones and we can't play it because Pep has said he doesn't want 4 right footers in the backline. We have games where Foden or Grealish are standing on the touchline watching because Cancelo is cutting in on his right and taking up the inside right position instead of them.

We need a left footed LB and I wish it was Zinchenko, but he's started fewer games than Fernandinho who's 37 and leaving because he's not playing enough. Pep doesn't rate him as a player, even if he rates him as a person to have around the squad.
