Feels like city need at least 3 players without anyone leaving.
Then knowing Fernandinho is going and possibly sterling or Jesus it does mean we would need 5 players.

Thats just based on us getting back to a 20 man squad. Haaland and Alverez are 2 signings. Then we need a dm, a full back and then I’d be thinking either another midfielder or a wide player depending on where pep plans to use Grealish next year.

A 20 man squad with a few of the kids knocking on the door seems perfect with pep liking a smaller squad.
 
Maybe the answer is within the club for replacements other than a forward. Lavia seems to have been a part of the first team squad and training all year and could be heir apparent to Fern

I am happy enough with Zinc covering left back, more of a concern might be cover for Walker, rather than shuffling Cancelo across all the time.

Same if we lose the likes of Raz and Jesus, we have Palmer, McAtee, Alvarez etc.

I am expecting Foden to be played more often in midfield and we might well see the return of the midfield of when we had David Silva and Kev either side of a defensive anchor

Pre-season might be the key as we should have a pretty full squad given no world cup in the summer

amazed we’re not pulling an angelino with Porro on that front.

Our best CB pairing is Dias and Stones and we can't play it because Pep has said he doesn't want 4 right footers in the backline. We need a left footed LB and I wish it was Zinchenko, but he's started fewer games than Fernandinho who's 37 and leaving because he's not playing enough. Pep doesn't rate him as a player, even if he rates him as a person to have around the squad.
