La Liga were looking to do a deal with CVC where the clubs get a one time big cash injection in return for a long-term revenue percentage going back to CVC.

The terms were absurd though. Like a Wonga loan but 25 years long or something.

The fact it was even considered shows how desperate they are.

He has played 2 games shy of half our games. Hardly limited for game time.
