My last comment on the Cucurella matter...Gus, unlike some others, I respect your input, especially regarding players you rate and don't rate...we seem to share a similar view in many cases...but I have to call you out on this Cucurella thing...its obvious you're lukewarm on us signing him by some of your earlier posts...so I have to believe you dug up the incident between Cucu and Militao to try and turn the forum against signing him...maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think so...

Which post exactly did I have “not rating” him? I don’t think I ever said a word about the guy before the first “link” last night. Then someone in the Brazilian group posted the tweet and I shared here. So unless I am a fan of a player, anything negative is me trying to discredit him? See even the woman had to add ur race because of the fact that it’s not and never was a general insult the word has always been targeted towards black people. I have been called sand ni**er but that doesn’t give me the right to go and call black people that.

Look man. I'm not commenting on anything other than I've been called a monkey and she didn't mean it in a flattering way. Denigrating someone because of their race, background or national origin (though many here don't seem to mind that one) isn't acceptable. It only takes one confirmed racist comment. Just 1, and it is racism by a racist. You don't wait for the 2nd offence. If he said that he is not somebody I would want the club dealing with.

I doubt there's a single player we'll bring in over the summer who will have that impact, to be honest. Especially considering we've already brought in Haaland.

That being said, everyone seems to go into meltdown at every signing we make these days so I could be wrong.

You are 100% correct about them going into meltdown at every signing. A couple of reports about Cucurella and we are now the Bayern of the premier league apparently.
