It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Not that I'm advocating selling Saka, but feel I need to stick up for him here. His stats are improving season on season, he was Arsenal's top scorer with 11 goals & 7 assists, got 3 goals in 5 games for England during this season, think the fact he can play either wing, midfield and even left back to a high level shows he's a good all round footballer, and best of all is he's doing all that while still only 20 years old, think he might be a few months than Cole Palmer.

Im sure Pep could get a hold of him and turn him into a very good player. But the fact you already have Palmer suggests to me that you've no real need for him.

Palmer would probably replace Mahrez if he didn’t extend. Saka would probably replace Sterling. Your point probably stands if Mahrez extends

Hi Guys,,thank you for all your support..this forum has become a snctuary for me in tough times.. The colonoscopy showed I had two divericular abscesses that had healed.. as a retired medic was told off for not going to hospital for IV antibiotics..at least not the big C..will wait until the war is over in Ukraine and find myself some hot totty as I can get by with the language !! Bless you all, this forum is full of support for people in tough times..Blues are truly the best.
That's great news mate..

The Jesus news around €45-50m to Madrid is from a top source. Wonder what happens now.

Heavens,, am tearing up..thank you so much, all of you.. the one thing that has kept me going is my love for City..what a strange thing to understand..when we were shit, my weekends were ruined by the humiliation of the rags success..I hated them with a passion..truthfuly, I hate the scousers fans more now, despite lovely people in the hospitals , maybe Everton fans, who knows..Yesterday I had a Phillipino male nurse with a scouse accent, could not understand a word !!!..Keeley from Little Britain kept coming into my head.. just laughed internally.. Thank you all, and thank you Tolmie because as someone who has been involved in football I know the rumours and talk does not always lead to what you expect. But putting your head on the line and then being criticised is so unfair. Keep up the good work and the other ITK.

They are remarkably similar in style but Saka is technically superior and has more substance to his game in respect of hold up play/aggression and recovery.
technically superior at what , dribbling?, scoring? passing ?
sakas stock has risen since he missed a penalty for england for some reason.

You come across as top bloke Bert, great that you have positive news x

Saka is the perfect profile for us and he will be an amazing player under Pep. I want it to happen. Don't look at how media or Arsenal fans make him out to be. But he is one of the top talents in Premier League.

Glad to hear there is nothing in the Saka links but disappointed to hear the other deals are still a way a way though :-( still early in the window mind and hopefully we have set deadlines if things are still proving hard in a couple of weeks then we move on to other targets

Its not even open yet. Friday it officially opens. Got 2 months before we kick off next season. Appreciating the desire for continual progress, there needs to be a lot more patience else you’ll drive yourself mad
