Too many question marks for me with a Neymar signing

For me there's only 2 questions about Neymar.

1) Is he coming to win trophies and get his career back on track after a few lazy years at PSG?

2) How much of the €250,000,000 PSG contract that auto-renewed 2 weeks ago is he giving up, how much are PSG paying to offload him, and how much are we going to end up coughing up?

The club were very clear with the Haaland signing to state his wages were not above De Bruynes. Can’t imagine we’d go above them to bring Neymar in. Maybe PSG would be covering a large element through a pay off.

Some twitter "transfer expert" (@Josh_Wilson33) said that we need to pay PSG 50M GBP to get Neymar... not PSG pays to us!

If it is true, I lost hope in City!

The Neymar rumours just quite add up (or sit right with me) but the club mostly gets their decisions correct

It does make sense.

On the player's side: It's World Cup year. Neymar has stated that this could be he's last. He'll want to give it all this year and he knows Pep is the one to help him retrieve his best football.

On the club's side: As we know, we're clearly preparing for something big by selling all these players.

And another factor that I haven't seen anyone mention: He's Puma's poster boy. I can see them helping and pushing for this move, especially now that they seem to have lost Haaland to Adidas.

Not to mention PSG are desperate to get rid of him.

It does make sense.

It would be a fitting end to the "We're not that kind of club" trilogy.

"We won't sign Grealish, we don't spend £100m on players, it's not the City way."

"We won't sign Haaland, we don't pay outrageous 20m+ agents fees, it's not the City way."

"We won't sign Neymar, we don't sign shirt selling names and pay those kind of wages, it's not the City way."

Well said!
