Yes I was pretty confident I knew what City was up to after delving into how analysts thought Pep would play next season given our signings so far. I always though Cancelo should stay on the left and sign a right back to help Walker. After reading the analytical guesses they changed my mind to what I am now hoping for In my last post.
What has happened since, with City seemingly happy to sell Ake and Zin, has confused me and if I had to say what City are up to now I wouldn’t be nearly as confident.
I would probably go with your guess but I wouldn’t understand it. I can’t find a club in the PL with less than 4 full backs other than us…admittedly I only looked at the big 6. Plus if there was ever a season to stock up a little bit given that we have a small squad it has to be this one. The guys talking about adequate cover will be the first to panic in the Matchday thread if Cancelo goes down clutching his knee.
Bet you wontPep presser today. We'll get the answers.
I saw that and thought it strange because previously I asked that exact question and he said no more to do with Sterling leaving. Must have changed his mind. He's already said a few days ago that it was in relation to Pogba.
For some reason I couldn't post this as a new thread anywhere so I'll post it here...Raz should have signed that kid's Man City jersey...he took the low road, IMO...disappointing...I have a sneaky suspicion that after one or two games against Chelsea there will be a fair amount of our supporters who wouldn't mind Dias or Walker laying the wood to him...just sayin'...
Maybe some players will cement their places in the team on this tourDoubt we’ll get anything concrete
I truly hope so...it would suck for everyone otherwise...Thought in the end of camera he did
Where are people getting the vibe that zinc has turned down arsenal ? I've seen nothing anywhere to suggest he's stayingStill believe it will be a left back and done, barring any other major outgoing, which I don't expect.
The problem is if he signs it you know there are people that will attack him the other side saying why have you done that. You only have to look how the media have gone after Raz before and that probably plays a big part of what he does in public which is pathetic if you ask me the lad has never done anything wrong and seems a stand up bloke and a great player. Zinchenko turned wolves down before but never had the opportunity of also playing further upfield for us which he now does being without Sterling. He very well might want to stay and fight for the LB/LW positionWhere are people getting the vibe that zinc has turned down arsenal ? I've seen nothing anywhere to suggest he's staying

All I see online is that he's keen to work with Arteta again and that's what has ultimately sold him on the move.Zinchenko turned wolves down before but never had the opportunity of also playing further upfield for us which he now does being without Sterling.
