Full Back Situation: Gomez still not officially signed but was at the match yesterday.

Pep says he expects Gomez to be the last of our signings unless anyone leaves. Of course there is still speculation that Bernardo may leave and who he would be replaced by. Some think that Bernardo said goodbye to the fans yesterday. The story still seems to be if United get FDJ then Barca get Bernardo and we get….someone! City linked with Matheus Nunes again by one report today should Bernardo leave.

The window closes 11PM on 1st September (18 days left)

Yeah, I'd reluctantly settle for that, not exactly a replacement but a very tidy footballer and seems like a decent character.

They are 21 and 23, to add to signing Haaland & Alvarez (both 22). Plus Phillips is hardly old at 26. This re-jig of the squad is exciting, even if we’re losing some players that we love.
